Christ is our Life

At Colleyville Presbyterian Church, the center of our life together is when we gather for worship every Sunday at 10:30 am. Our worship follows a regular structure each week, a pattern which is drawn from the Scriptures as well as the historic practices of the universal Christian church. As we pray together, sing together, listen together to God’s word read and preached, and take the Lord’s Supper together week by week, we believe the Holy Spirit uses these means of grace to give us communion with Jesus Christ, the one who is, and will always be, our life.

Worship With Us

Our worship is often described as joyfully reverent. Each week we experience these ancient practices of Christian worship: the practice of reflective silence, the practice of enthusiastic singing, the practice of confessing our sins and receiving the declaration of God’s forgiveness, the practice of listening carefully to God’s word, the practice of gladly feasting on Christ together in the Lord’s Supper, and the practice of receiving the blessing of Jesus in the pastoral benediction at the end of the service.

How We Worship

Our Core Values

Our nine core values are: Union with Christ, The Means of Grace – Word, Sacrament & Prayer, Lord’s Day Worship, Covenant Renewal Worship for All, Christian and Reformed, Intentional Soul Care, Honoring “Ordinary” Vocations, Inviting Hospitality, and Resurrection Joy. In the fall of 2019, our Senior Pastor, Josh Anderson, led a series during our Sunday School hour covering each of these core values. You may listen to all of these sessions here.
