Our next Parents’ Night Out, a time when we provide free childcare for children infants—5th grade at the church as a service for parents in our congregation, will be on Saturday evening, February 8th, 5:30 pm—8:00 pm. We lift off for Vacation Bible School “Space Probe” on July 6-8, 2022, 9am-noon. Join us for a time-traveling mission back to the dawn of time. “Eyewitness” storytellers will transport our young astronauts deep into the book of Genesis where they joyfully encounter their Personal Creator and discover they were made to love and worship the very Lord of the Universe! If you would like to register your child/children, please contact either our Children’s Ministry Director, Naomi Martin (naomi@cpcpca.org). Our mission focus for VBS this year is Crates for Ukraine. We will be collecting humanitarian aid supplies specifically with children in mind that will be couriered to Krakow, Poland and then transported into Ukraine for distribution. Our first VBS meeting is March 9th, at 7pm, at the church! If you are interested in learning more about Vacation Bible School, and how you might be able to participate in this ministry opportunity to the children in our church, please join us! This year VBS will be held June 28th, 29th, and 30th (Wednesday through Friday), 9 am - noon each day.
On April 23rd, there will be a planning meeting for VBS! We will meet at 12:15pm right after the worship service, in classroom D2 in the office building. The plan is to finish before 1pm, so as to not interfere with your lunch plans. If you are volunteering or want to volunteer, plan on making this meeting a priority!
Vacation Bible School will be June 28th - 30th for our PreK-5th Grade students. Registration is currently open just to the CPC community but will open to the broader community on May 15th.
