On April 23rd, there will be a planning meeting for VBS! We will meet at 12:15pm right after the worship service, in classroom D2 in the office building. The plan is to finish before 1pm, so as to not interfere with your lunch plans. If you are volunteering or want to volunteer, plan on making this meeting a priority!
Women's Bible Study on the Gospel of Luke meets on Thursday mornings during the school year at 9 am in the sanctuary. Join us for a time of study, fellowship, and prayer, led by Pastor Josh. We offer free child care for children 5 and under. Older children are welcome to come and sit quietly in the sanctuary, and babies are welcome to be with their moms.
As a church family, we would like to join together to celebrate the new addition to the Cooper family with a Basket of Blessings on Saturday, June 10th, 10 am – noon, at Trudy Carlson's home. “Basket of Blessings” is a Colleyville tradition to bless a family after the birth of a 2nd (or more) child with a basket of unwrapped and anonymous gifts. The gathering is a wonderful time of prayer and fellowship with other women of the church as we celebrate God’s gift of another child. Vacation Bible School will be June 28th - 30th for our PreK-5th Grade students. Registration is currently open just to the CPC community but will open to the broader community on May 15th.
All women are invited to gather this summer to study the book of Lamentations in a 7 week study in June and July. The study will be taught by Rachel Vendsel on Monday evenings, from 7:00 - 8:30 pm beginning June 5 and concluding July 17, and Thursday mornings from 9:00 - 10:30 am beginning June 1 and concluding July 20. Our traditional Christmas Eve Lessons & Carols and candlelight service will take place at 6 pm on Monday, December 24th. Plan to make this beautiful service a part of your family's holiday tradition this year.
