Roctober – Student Fall Retreat (2022)

The “Roctober” retreat is put on and organized by youth pastors our North Texas Presbytery and is open to all 6th-12th grade students. Donny Friederichsen, who is the pastor of Lakeside PCA, will be doing the teaching, and this will be a great opportunity to build friendship among our students (and to spend quality time with the adult leaders!). The cost of the retreat is $80. Below is the official information from the retreat organizers, including a registration link. If you’d like to participate in the trip, go ahead and register your student, and please ALSO send an email to Pastor Josh Anderson so I can keep a list of students attending from our church.

Roctober VII

• Location: Camp Copass (8200 E McKinney St, Denton, TX 76208) You can find their website here.
• Date: Friday, October 21st (7pm) to Saturday, October 22nd (9pm) – (Note: we are staying overnight on Friday and ending the retreat Saturday night)
• Speaker: Donny Friederichsen. Donny is the Senior Pastor at Lakeside Presbyterian Church, a part of the North Texas Presbytery
• Cost: $80 (includes lodging overnight, three meals on Saturday, and a T-shirt if registered by 10/7)
