Join us for our annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 26th, 5:30-7:30 pm in the Colleyville Presbyterian parking lots. Be prepared for a fun evening of food, games, and activities with many from both the CPC congregation and the surrounding community.
What to expect this year:
Chili Cook-Off:
The Golden Ladle is our coveted trophy! This year, we will have dedicated judges, multiple categories and 3 winners (one from each category)!
* Our categories this year will be Classic, Spicy, and Offbeat.
* The sign-up genius link (here) includes a place to volunteer as a judge and as a contestant.
* You may be a judge and a contestant, but you cannot vote for your own chili.
* When you sign up as a contestant, please state which category of chili you plan to enter in the contest: Classic, Spicy or Offbeat.
Dunk Tank:
Who hasn’t wanted to drop a Pastor, Elder or Deacon into a vat of cold water? This year, weather permitting, we will be adding a dunk tank! We have Elders, Deacons and a Pastor signed up to spend time on the hot seat. So start warming up those throwing arms!
Child care during set up:
Setting up the event is an area that has been challenging in the past. For those with small children that would like to help set-up the event, we will be providing free childcare that afternoon from 3pm to 5:30pm.
There are MANY ways in which you and your family can serve. Please see the sign up genius link below and consider manning a station or asking your student to volunteer so that the younger kids can enjoy the event.
