Women (18 years and older) are invited to join us for an evening at the gun range on Friday, March 13th. This evening is intended to provide an opportunity not only for fellowship, but to give women in our congregation and any guests the opportunity to shoot with other women – which can be a much less intimidating environment than with their husband, dad, or other male in their life. We’d also like to provide a safe space to allow those women who may have never shot a pistol to try something completely new and learn important gun safety and handling.
We will meet at the church at 6 pm for a safety briefing and a review of pistol shooting fundamentals. We’ll then proceed to the range where we will do some organized drills intended help you work on shooting fundamentals and improve your shooting. We could have a little friendly competition if anyone is game and even grab a bite or drinks afterward if there’s time. There will be a cost associated with this event and all range fees will be paid directly to the range. Plan on approximately $15-20 for range fees and we will use a minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition.
You are invited and welcome to participate in the portion of the evening at the church regardless of whether you choose to continue on to the range with us.
